The
Order of the Traditional Anglican Sisters in Christ
A
religious order is an organization of people who live in some
way set apart from society in accordance with religious devotion.
The members of such orders, termed religious as a group,
are usually distinct from both the laity and the clergy.
‘Sisters’ mean ALL women. When you have to walk that
lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, the women
in your life will be on the valley’s rim, cheering you on,
praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf,
and waiting with open arms at the valley’s end. Sometimes,
they will even break the rules and walk beside you. Or, come in
and carry you out.
Our Mission is for every ‘Sister in Christ’ to pledge
herself to a lifelong program of fervent prayer; constant aid
to her clergy and parish; service to the Lord; a commitment to
the spread of the Apostles’ teachings; in the Breaking of
Bread; and, fellowship. (Acts 2:42-47)
Our national colors are a green background with gold lettering.
Our outward and visible sign is The Sisters in Christ Cross. Our
national hymn is ‘Take My Life and Let It Be’. Our
Motto is ‘Here I am, Lord. Send me’.
The first chapter of The Order of the Traditional Anglican Sisters
in Christ was established and founded by Ealnor Hamilton and Chartered
on June 23, 2006 at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Orlando,
Florida.
The charter members are:
Marcia Brown
Eudora Campese
Susan Keller
Anne Larsen
Louise Patrick
Ella Wilson
The Order of the Traditional Anglican Sisters
in Christ is open to all Traditional Anglican women. We hope that
Chapters of the Sisters in Christ will be formed in all Traditional
Anglican churches worldwide.

Sisters
in Christ Prayer
Father in heaven, when the Spirit came down upon Jesus at His
Baptism in the Jordan, You revealed Him as Your own beloved Son.
Keep us, Your children, born of water and the Spirit, faithful
to our calling. May we who share in your life as your children
through Baptism follow in Christ’s path of service to people.
Let us become one in His sacrifice and hear His word with faith.
May we live as Your children, following the example of Jesus.
