THE VISION STATEMENT
The Cathedral of the Incarnation: a community that lives and proclaims
Jesus Christ as defined in Scripture and expressed through our beautiful,
ancient liturgy.
THE MISSION STATEMENT
We, the parishioners of the Cathedral of the Incarnation,
Anglican Church in America, Traditional Anglican Communion are called
by baptism to live and proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ by:
• Worshipping God in prayer and sacrament
• Teaching and preaching the Word of God
• Loving and serving our neighbor
It is the will of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit to join heaven
and earth in praise and salutation. In our worship, we praise the
Most Holy Trinity and in our disciplined lives we follow in the
footsteps of the martyrs and all the saints made perfect. Gifted
an anointed by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to this mission
through responsible stewardship of our time, talent and material
resources.
THE MINISTRY PLAN
The vision for our ministry at the Cathedral of the Incarnation
must always originate with our Lord. He has called and continues
to call and commission all of us to communicate it clearly to others
so that we may carry it through to completion.
He
said, Bring them hither to me
(Matt 14:18)
Our
ministry leadership is founded in revelation. Whether God has revealed
a five, ten, twenty or even a fifty-year vision, our ministry plan
must begin with the end in mind. God will place effective leadership
on this journey and communicate a plan to see the vision come to
pass.
