A Bible Study of the Book of Job
The quote above is taken from the Epistle of James, where the author commends Job and holds him up as an example to be followed in the Christian Church (“we call blessed those who have endured/persevered,” James 5:11).
In what way is this so? In this Bible study, we will come alongside the man Job on his journey, learn his story, and seek to understand the design of the book in which his steadfastness is manifested. We too are on a journey of our own, and the book confronts us on our own terms, as it focuses on and chronicles Job’s long 42-chapter ordeal with God. Please bring your bibles.
